Kick off Saturday with the Philly Whiskey Walk, a Center City bar crawl where you can sample different Irish whiskeys from each bar. If hard liquor isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other drink deals for leap day, from South Bowl to Howl at the Moon to a Mad Hatter Whiskey Tea Party. (Like I said, lots of whiskey this weekend.)
Of course, these celebratory food and drink deals only come once every four years, so partake in the fun while it lasts.
A little more family-friendly: The Philadelphia Flower Show debuts this weekend, and the Harlem Globetrotters are in town Friday. Or, you can celebrate the era of Jane Austen at the Classical Hamilton Mansion.
