EVENT: International Conference and Festival of Blacks in Dance

DETAILS: More than 40 black dance companies from across the nation will be showcased at this four-day festival, which is now in its 32nd year. Emerging, established and legendary companies will celebrate black dance and give the audience a better idea of its history and technique.

EVENT: 22nd annual Tattoo Arts Convention

DETAILS: Whether you’re in the market to get your first tattoo or just want to check out some original art, this convention has a little something for everyone. Artists from around the world will be in attendance and there will also be vendors, seminars and contests for your viewing pleasure.
