EVENT: Disney on Ice presents ‘Road Trip Adventures’

DETAILS: Join Mickey and Minnie on a trip around the world, from the rooftops of London to a safari in the Pride Lands, during this special ice adventure. There will be sing-a-long opportunities, dancing lessons, and, of course, photo opportunities with all of your favorite characters.

EVENT: Everybody Hits Philadelphia closing

WHERE: Everybody Hits Philadelphia, 529 Girard Ave., North Philadelphia
DETAILS: The venue near Northern Liberties, which offered automatic batting cages to all, describes its closing as “tragic and abrupt.” It’s asking for the public’s help in selling off everything from a hot dog roller to entire batting cages. Wear your coat and come out for drinks.

EVENT: Storytime at the Lodge
DATE/TIME: Saturday, 11:30 to 12:30 p.m.
WHERE: Blue Cross RiverRink, 101 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Old City
DETAILS: Every Saturday through March 7, there will be a story hour at Blue Cross RiverRink featuring a brand new story, cookies and hot cocoa. Select Saturdays will feature a bilingual reader. Before and after each story, attendees are invited to sing and dance to their favorite songs. Saturday’s story is “Squirrel's New Year's Resolution” read by Councilmember Mark Squilla.

DETAILS: Take a walk through the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic periods with more than 80 true-to-size dinosaurs. Some of the creatures roar, move and even walk around. There will be many different attractions for dinosaur fans, including digging up fossils like a real-life paleontologist or riding on the back of a 24-foot T. Rex.
