From August 9th through the 20th, 96.5 TDY and Coop will feature Ronald McDonald Camp campers during the Morning Show. Tune in to Camp Coop Radio as our special Guest DJs announce their favorite songs, and share their summer favorites!
What is the Ronald McDonald House Camp? In 2021 due to Covid restrictions, Ronald McDonald camp shifted from a week-long camp in the beautiful Pocono Mountains to a virtual format. This camp is a place where kids with cancer, ages 7-17, and their siblings, can enjoy just being kids. It’s a week of fun and friendship and freedom from being different. It’s a chance to experience new activities and acquire new skills in a supportive, nurturing environment. It’s a time when kids can talk openly about cancer and everybody else understands. Counselors for RMC are made up of more than 130 volunteers!
