Festival of Fountains at Longwood Gardens (Now–September 28)
Experience Illuminated Fountain Performances at the Festival of Fountains at Longwood Gardens open now through the end of September.

Doylestown Art Festival (September 6-7)
This September 6th & 7th, the Doylestown Arts Festival returns for its 34th anniversary! Featuring a diverse selection of over 160 independent artists, live music on 5 stages, demonstrations, and activities for all ages, this is not a weekend to miss. The festival will run from 10am-5pm Saturday through Sunday and is free to the public.

Pumpkinland at Linvilla Orchards (September 6-November 2)
Linvilla Orchards' annual Pumpkinland opens for the season on September 10! Check out harvest hayrides around the farm, haybale mazes, plus more. Things get spooky after dark with moonlight hayrides around the farm or to the nearby Witch’s House, ending at a campfire with cider and marshmallows.

Scarecrows in the Village at Peddler’s Village (September 8-October 26)
For 8 weeks, more than 100 creative and colorful locally handmade scarecrows line the grounds' brick pathways as part of an annual competition, which you can vote for your faves! The display's apex is the annual

Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show (September 19-21)
The biannual Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show is the oldest outdoor fine arts show in the country! This free outdoor gallery showcases nearly 150 professional artists offering works in paint, sketch, glass, printmaking, sculpture, and more.

Upper Darby International Festival (September 20, 1PM-6PM)
The eigth annual Upper Darby International Festival celebrates the diverse Delco community, the sixth largest in Pennsylvania. Celebrate the township's signature event and their theme "The World In One Place" with international cuisine food vendors, community resources, a Kids zone, the traditional Parade of Flags, plus more on September 28 from 1PM-6PM.

Delaware River Festival at Penn’s Landing and Wiggins Park (September 27, 10AM-4PM)
The annual Delaware River Festival offers something fun for the whole family. From ferry rides, face painting, crafts, and more, check out all the activities you can do along the Camden and Philadelphia waterfronts.

Spruce Street Harbor Park (Now-September 28)
Spruce Sreet Harbor Park feature the same floating hammocks, tasty grub, and music you know and love. Stop by to experience all it has to offer before the season comes to a close.

Fallfest and Fallfest Unwind at Shady Brook Farm (September 12 - October 30)
Buck County's friendly-family Fallfest returns on September 12. The annual event features hay rides, barnyard animals, kids’ games, pedal go-cars, the Barn of Horror, a Peanuts-themed corn maze and lots more! Plus pick-your-own pumpkins, sunflowers and apples.

When the sun goes down, head to FallFest Fun After Dark with FallFest UnWINEd weekend live music, bonfires, the Moonlit Maze, and the not-so-scary Eerie Illuminations Halloween Light Show Wagon Ride.

Fall Harvest Festivals at Johnsons Corner Farm (Weekends now - October 25)
Experience Live Music (12-4), Family Friendly Corn Maze, Gem Mining & Rubber Duck Races all day, Apple and Pumpkin Picking Hayrides and a Festival Food Tent will be serving up tasty selections from the kitchen 11-4.

Halloween in Manayunk (October 1-31)
Bring the whole family - pets, too - to Manayunk for a spooky Halloween celebration all month long. Details coming soon!

Harbaugh Village (October 3-November 1)
Experience family fun, magical memories, and holiday traditions at Harbaugh Village. From the pumpkin play yard and corn maze at day, to the night-only, illuminated, magic pumpkin patch, take a trip to New Jersey for their endless entertainment and events!

Out and About in Manayunk (October 4)
Manayunk is excited to be bringing back Out & About in MNYK to Main Street! In honor of National Coming Out Day in October, Out & About in MNYK will host LGBTQ+ artists, performers, organizations, and entertainment to promote Manayunk as a safe place that welcomes everyone. Tap HERE for more information on the event!

Delco Arts Week (October 4-12)

OctoberFeast at Peddler’s Village (October 11-12)
Join Peddler's Village for the 9th annual OctoberFeast on October 11 and 12 from 11AM-6PM! Enjoy a weekend featuring food trucks, beer garden, live entertainment, and family activities. Grab your stein and stroll amongst larger-than-life scarecrows every day through October 26, part of their 46th Annual Scarecrows in the Village! Peddler's Village shops will be open until 8 p.m. on Saturday. Admission and parking are free.

Chestnut Hill Fall For The Arts Festival (October 12, 11AM -5PM)
The 40th annual Fall for the Arts Festival returns to Chestnut Hill on September 15, transforming Germantown Avenue into an outdoor arts and craft marketplace.

Applefest at Fox Chase Farm (October 18, 12PM-4PM)
APPLEFEST is on Saturday, October 18 from 12-4PM at Fox Chase Farm! Included in $5 admissions is fresh pressed apple cider, hayrides, candle dipping, apple butter tasting, games, live music, pumpkin painting, and more. Bring extra cash for apple butter, local honey, pumpkins, and food truck. This is an outdoor event.

Boo at the Zoo at Philadelphia Zoo (Select days in October)
The Philadelphia Zoo's annual Halloween extravaganza, Boo at the Zoo, is back for three fun-filled weekends of costumes, festive fall treats, and ghoulish fun! Stop by on October 11,12, 13, 18, 19, 25, and 26 from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM, put on your favorite costume, bring a bag, and trick-or-treat throughout the Zoo.

Bates Motel (September 19-November 2)
The Bates Motel in Delco is named one of the 10 Best Haunted House Attractions in America by CNN! Last year, the American Haunts Group named the Bates motel and Haunted Hayride to Legendary Status, one of only five in America! Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary (September 19-November 8)
On select dates each fall, Eastern State Penitentiary opens its cell blocks after dark for Halloween Nights. Experience 15 different attractions of terror behind the walls including 5 haunted houses, prison tours, spooky-themed bards, a beer garden, plus more.

Pennhurst Asylum Haunt (September 20-November 2)
Pennhurst Asylum is a terrifying haunted attraction in Chester County featuring 3 chilling venues: Pennhurst Asylum haunted house, The Morgue and The Tunnels. Plus, check out less-scary daytime and paranormal investigation tours

Fright Factory (September 26-November 1)
Fright Factory is a dark and cavernous basement of a 120-year-old abandoned factory in South Philly. This 25,000-square-foot space is split into three themed areas, an Industrial Nightmare, South Side Sanatorium, and Fright Factor Unholy. Visit their website to find out more.

Lincoln Mill Haunted House in Manayunk (September 26-November 2)
Lincoln Mill Haunted House is a fully immersive horror experience featuring live scare-actors, special effects, and more. The ghastly history tells a spine-chilling story of bodies “discovered” in a secret basement chamber after flooding from Hurricane Ida in 2021, uncovering the mill’s dark and gruesome past. Oktoberfest in Downtown West Chester (September 27)
Celebrate the fourth annual Oktoberfest in Downtown West Chester on Saturday, September 27th! Participating locations will have a select list of $6 fall beers or ciders and fall-themed appetizers. No tickets are needed, simply show up at one (or multiple) of the participating locations and ask for the Oktoberfest specials. There will be live music around town for you to enjoy as you walk to and from each restaurant. If you have any Oktoberfest outfits/accessories, now is the time to wear them!
