
Spring has sprung, and so have the Spring season events happening in and around Philadelphia! Through April showers to May flowers, here's your guide to what's happening this Spring.
relighting of boathouse row (march 7 from 6pm-8pm)
The much-anticipated Official Boathouse Row Relighting Ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 7 from 6-8PM at the Fairmount Fish Ladder! Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy music and food trucks as Boathouse Row relights with a short light show.
PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES OPENING DAY (MARCH 28, 3:05 PM)
Play ball! The Phillies return to Citizens Bank Park against the Atlanta Braves for Opening Day on Thursday, March 28th. Game time kicks off at 3:05 PM
SPRING BLOOMS AT LONGWOOD GARDENS (MARCH 30-MAY 5)
Spring is blooming at Longwood Gardens Experience the season from Wednesday-Monday from 10AM-6PM. Plus, members can experience a special morning hour from 9AM-10AM on Saturdays and Sundays.
SUBARU CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL OF GREATER PHILADELPHIA (APRIL 13-14)
The Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival returns this spring in celebration of Japanese arts and culture. The centerpiece event of 2024 festival, Sakura Weekend, is taking place Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center. Admission to the Sakura Weekend is free, but you can "pay what you wish" to support the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia.
KENSINGTON DERBY & ARTS FESTIVAL (MAY 11)
The 16th annual Kensington Derby & Arts Festival is back on May 11! Featuring parades of sculptures, artist shops, and food vendors, funds raised support neighborhood projects.
BLUE CROSS RIVERRINK SUMMERFEST (MAY 12-SEPTEMBER 24)
Ready to get your skate on? The roller rink at Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest opens on May 12 and is open through September 24!
MAIN LINE OUTDOOR BEER & WINE FESTIVAL (MAY 11 from 12:30PM-4PM)
The Main Line Outdoor Beer & Wine Festival at Ardmore Music Hall returns on Saturday, May 11 at Schauffele Plaza. Featuring 20+ beer and local wine vendors, food trucks, plus more, stop by this rain or shine event.
RADNOR HUNT RACES (MAY 18)
Celebrate 93 years of horseracing on the Main Line at the Radnor Hunt Races. From amazing tailgates, fancy hats and bow ties to the parade of antique carriages, experience a day filled with elegance, excitement and fun.
MADE ON AMERICAN STREET FESTIVAL (MAY 18)
Don't miss the Made on American Street Festival with beer, cider, food and music on Saturday, May 18 from 2-6PM at Punch Buggy Brewing Company. Artists and makers around the city will be sharing their talents and crafts at this bustling local art market.
WRESTLEMANIA 40 AT LINCOLN FINANCIAL FIELD (APRIL 6-7)
WrestleMania is back in Philadelphia for the first time in 25 years at Lincoln Financial Field. Two nights of thousands of fans, fireworks, and action are expected to take place at the Field and in matches across the street at Wells Fargo Center.
MANAYUNK STREAT FOOD FESTIVAL (APRIL 21 FROM 11AM -5PM)
Food trucks and neighborhood restaurants are lining Manayunk's Main Street during the Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival! See local vendors, live performances, and pay-as-you-go for food and drink.
the philadelphia show (april 25-28)
The Philadelphia Show, one of the nation's leading art and design fair is back at the Philadelphia Museum of Art! Stop by the show featuring over 40 U.S. exhibitors specializing in fine art, collectible design, and antiques.
fan expo at the pennsylvania convention center (may 3-5)
Originally known as Wizard World, Fan Expo brings all things sci-fi, horror, anime and cosplay to the Pennsylvania Convention Center this May. Stop by to meet comics creators, artists, game developers, attend hands-on workshops, and more.
rittenhouse row spring festival (may 4 from 12pm-5PM)
The annual Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival is back this May, highlighting the neighborhood's food, art, beauty, fashion, family fun, and featuring culinary demonstrations and beer and cocktail samplings.
strawberry festival at peddler's village (may 4-5)
Since 1978, the Strawberry Festival at Peddler's Village features two days of events centered around lovclly grown strawberries. Taste treats in the form of pastries, jams, chocolate-dipped bites, and purchase strawberries by the pint. The Festival also includes a craft show, live entertainment, food trucks, and more.
blue cross broad street run (may 5, 7:30 am)
From the Logan neighborhood in North Philly to The Navy Yard in South Philly, the 10-mile Broad Street Run kicks off at 7:30 am this year on Sunday, May 5!
chestnut hill home + garden festival (may 5 from 11am-5pm)
Chestnut Hill's Home + Garden Festival returns this May, with over 200 home and garden vendors at Germantown Avenue! Shop for your spring and summer projects while enjoying live music, a Kids Zone, and plenty of shops to explore as you stroll.
devon horse show and country fair (may 23-june 2)
The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair is the country's oldest and largest event of its kind. Stop by the Devon Show Grounds from May 23 through June 2 and explore nearly 60 vendors at this old-fashioned country fair.
rittenhouse square fine art show (june 7-9)
The Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show is the oldest fine arts show in the country. This popular twice-a-year event returns to the perimeter of Rittenhouse Square in June, where over 140 professional artists feature sculptures, paintings, and more.
