Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendes have taken the next big step in their relationship and added a furry new friend into the mix. Like so many couples who have added a pet into their living situation during the pandemic, Cabello and Mendes are also welcoming a new puppy into their home.
The sweet couple is seriously giving us some super cute content right now as they took to social media to introduce us to their new dog, Tarzan.
On Instagram, Mendes shared a series of adorable photos and video clips, where we see the couple showing off their new pupper. In one video we see Tarzan come up to the camera and sniff the phone, in the background Camilla jokes, “He loves himself, it's a good sign.”
In a touching note on her Instagram, Cabello shared a video of Tarzan snuggled in Shawn’s arms and Camila writes, “during uncertain times like this we need a reminder that sweet miracle things like puppies exist in the world too, meet the new member of the pack: Tarzan!”
The couple has really leaned into home life with one another, and their new pet is certainly a sign of embracing the idea of staying home. Camila and Shawn have been living together in Camila’s home in Miami.

In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Mendes told Jimmy Fallon, “At first when I got here, it was like the beginning of the album process and I was in full panic state. I was like, there's no way I'm gonna make music. This is gonna be impossible.” However, Shawn continues, “but a week goes by and you start cooking eggs in the morning. You start doing laundry and taking dogs for walks. You have your coffee mug, you use the same one every day and it just becomes really nice. Which sounds so normal for everyone else, but it's abnormal for me.”
