Nick Minaj is accepting all the praise coming her way for the re-release of her 2009 mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty. But more than that, she’s giving credit, where credit is due, to both Drake and Lil Wayne for their verses on “Seeing Green.”

Back with his 2013 hit, “Tuscan Leather,” Drake was the second to admit “he wasn’t even talkin' to Nicki, communication is breakin’,” and that he “dropped the ball on some personal s***,” and needed “to embrace it.”

Now it’s 2021, Drake and Nicki are more than just talking, they’re back to rapping together on the same track, and this time it’s Ms. Onika Miraj, who’s doing the confessing.

While responding to some fan questions on Twitter, the multi-platinum Queen of the Barbs was asked what her favorite line was, Nicki admitted she couldn’t pick just one, “Way too many,” Nicki wrote, and also offered up the following in regards to her Young Money associates. “All I know is that they washed me on #SeeingGreen I’m a woman enough to admit when I’ve been washed on a track by the Greats. And it’s ok #Barbz I’ve washed them b4. We’ll live through this one. I was still a lil rusty. I washed them in my head on #Fractions.”

Washed, btw for those of you with a mortgage, is a term used to express when someone gets beat. And while we don’t know about all that. and personally think they all snapped, we’re not going to argue with Nicki, because we know better.

Fun fact, “Seeing Green” marks the trio’s first collaboration since 2017’s “No Frauds.” But let’s not live in the past, so if you haven’t already, listen to “Seeing Green” below.
