PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Monday marks Game 4 of 162, and Game 1 of 81 at Citizens Bank Park — hopefully. All fingers and toes are crossed that it will be dry enough for the Phillies home opener to go on as scheduled.
Spotty rain showers are forecast for the early afternoon and are expected to intensify starting around 5 p.m.
As of now, the game is still set to get underway at 3:05 p.m., as scheduled. Gates open at 12:35 p.m., and fans can head to Citizens Bank Park’s team store for new gear starting at 9 a.m.
Tailgaters are sure to be out as well, and there’s a big outdoor block party at the third base gate.
