Bryce Harper entered Tuesday's game against the Washington Nationals with 247 career home runs, but had never hit an inside-the-park home run before.
Well, now he can cross that off of his list.
The Phillies slugger legged out his first inside-the-park home run of his career in the bottom of the fifth inning when he skied a fly ball to left-center field.

Nationals center field Victor Robles tracked the ball and attempted to make a leaping grab but instead he appeared to mis-time his jump and the ball went off the top of the wall and ricocheted back toward the outfield.
From there, it was a race between the Nationals outfielders getting the ball in and Harper getting to home plate.
Juan Soto retrieved the ball and fired it back into the infield but it was too late as Harper slide across home plate as he help narrow the Phillies' deficit to 6-3.
Harper has been playing well of late. He entered Tuesday's game hitting .315/.414/.521 with two home runs, nine doubles and 12 RBI in the month of July.
