Add tight end Dallas Goedert to the list of Eagles who were unhappy with the playing conditions in Super Bowl 57.
Appearing on Pardon My Take at Tight End U, the five-year veteran said he's almost over the loss, but believes things would've been different had the field been better.
"Man, the Sodfather did not do good," Goedert said. "It was a great game until the end. If the field was better, if we were playing on turf, I would take us 10 out of 10."
Despite the wet field, the Eagles offense racked up 35 points, the most in Super Bowl history for a losing team.
However, the field really affected the Eagles vaunted defensive front that had 70 sacks in the regular season. Haason Reddick and company were unable to record a single sack against the Chiefs.
"There was a lot of people slipping, you know, you can't make that up, but both teams played on the same [field]," Goedert continued. "I just hope we can get back and play on good turf next year."
The Eagles will get their first shot at revenge in Week 11 this fall when they travel to Arrowhead Stadium to play the Chiefs on Monday Night Football.
