Everyone loves the Salvation Army…except the Eagles?

The Salvation Army bucket has been the source of quite a few memorable celebrations (and a few Ezekiel Elliott fines) at AT&T Stadium, including the Cowboys’ tight ends playing Whac-a-Mole on Thanksgiving against the Giants.
Well, on Saturday, after DeVonta Smith put the Eagles ahead 34-27 with a fourth-quarter touchdown, the jingle bells were ringing the wrong way, as the former Heisman Trophy Winner’s celebration was best suited for The Grinch:
While it would’ve been funny had he found the touchdown ball Elliott had put in the bucket earlier in the game (which was in the other end, as he scored in the first quarter), it’s never funny to steal from charity for real.
For now, though, the Eagles could be the green (and black) Grinches who steal Christmas for the Cowboys, as a Birds win or tie clinches the NFC East title and the top seed in the playoffs.
