The vast majority of fans say Jason Kelce has passed Brian Dawkins as the most beloved Eagles player this century, according to a 94WIP Morning Show poll.
The 94WIP Morning Show gave their answers to this question on Wednesday, during Convince Kelce day.
Joe DeCamara: "So I go Dawk, but it's close. First off, you give Kelce credit just for even being in the conversation."
Jon Ritchie: "I'm not ready to go there yet...They are exactly as advertised. They are stand up people. They are great teammates, they are great fathers and brothers and husbands. They really are everything they're cracked up to be."
Rhea Hughes: "I had a cat that I named B-Dawk, just to let you know and I had him for a decade. And Kelce is above Brian Dawkins now for me. You combine the length that Kelce has been here, the championship, and the speech...All those things combine and I just love every time he had talks. To me, he's just moved ahead. It's slight, but for me he's one now."
Joe Weachter: "The everyman Jason Kelce, down to earth, seeing him out and about with everybody. I just feel that connection with him now and so it's Jason Kelce for me."
Devan Kaney: "It's hard. B-Dawk was my first jersey, he was my favorite, he probably still is so I might have to go with Dawkins."
Dawkins, a member of the Pro Football Hall Of Fame, played 13 seasons for the Eagles and three for the Broncos. He made the Pro Bowl nine teams and was named first-team All-Pro four times.
Kelce, a future member of the Pro Football Hall Of Fame, has spent his entire 13-year career with the Eagles. He has been named to the Pro Bowl seven times and was named first-team All-Pro six times.
