Giglio: Eagles beating Ravens is most impressive win of Nick Sirianni era

Joe Giglio came away from Sunday's Eagles win more impressed than any he has seen since Nick Sirianni took over as head coach.

Yes, that includes Philly winning the NFC title game against the Niners to reach the Super Bowl two years ago.

"It is hard not to think big today...I can't find a team better than the Eagles right now. They're playing like the best team in the National Football League," Joe said. "That was the best win of the Sirianni era.

"That championship game against the Niners was incredible and it meant so much, but they faced a fourth-string quarterback by the end of that game."

The other candidate would be the Birds taking down Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs on the road in primetime last year, but Joe says no other win under Sirianni's watch looked as thoroughly dominant than Sunday night, especially when considering the quality of opponent.

"That Chiefs game, they went on the road and won on a Monday night, but Valdes-Scantling dropped a ball and maybe they got lucky," Joe said. "Last night, they went and played a team - the Ravens offense was up there statistically with The Greatest Show on Turf - they were unstoppable, and until garbage time, the Eagles defense dominated that football game.

"Between the offensive line, not turning the ball over, special teams, defense, this looks like a championship team."
