It's Nick Foles season!

The Indianapolis Colts announced on Wednesday that quarterback Nick Foles will start on Monday night against the Chargers.

The Colts are expected to start Foles for the final three games of the season, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano.

The 33-year-old Philadelphia legend takes over for Exton, PA native Matt Ryan who has struggled this season, winning just four of 12 starts. 24-year-old Sam Ehlinger started two games for the Colts this season, both resulting in losses.

The 4-9-1 Colts fired former Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich on November 7th, naming Jeff Saturday their interim head coach. Of course, Foles help lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory under Reich and Doug Pederson during the 2017 season, famously replacing Carson Wentz late in the season after Wentz suffered a torn ACL.

Foles has played just two snaps for the Colts this season and played just one game for the Bears in 2021.

The Colts finish their season vs. the Chargers, at the Giants, and vs. the Texans.
