Many are clamoring for Nick Sirianni to be fired as Eagles head coach, but Hugh Douglas is going against the grain, declaring that Sirianni deserves another chance.
"I think he deserves a second chance," Hugh said. "This is like an electrician coming in and wiring a house. The house looks great, but you flip the switch, and the lights don't come on. So you have to go through and see where the disconnection is.
"Is there cause to fire Nick Sirianni? I think there is…but I need to figure out why things fell apart."
Angelo Cataldi pushed back hard on Hugh's faith in Sirianni, but Hugh maintained that Sirianni should return, especially when the likes of Jalen Hurts and Fletcher Cox are publicly supporting their head coach.
"I think the fact that you've had veteran players, players that are highly respected, come out and support Nick Sirianni, that should tell you that there's a disconnect somewhere," Hugh said.
