Giglio: Lurie should force Sirianni to apologize to fans

Joe Giglio says Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie should force head coach Nick Sirianni to apologize to the fan base.

"If I'm Jeff Lurie today, I'm calling Nick Sirianni into my office and giving him an ultimatum—you apologize to the fan base or you pack your office up and you leave," Giglio said in his Monday 94WIP Midday Show open.

"That was a joke yesterday," he continued. "That was a completely unprofessional effort. Here's what Nick Sirianni is at this point. He's a distraction. Coaches are not supposed to be distractions. We have a distraction at the head coaching spot, every player is asked about it."

After the Eagles' ugly 20-16 win over the now 1-5 Browns on Sunday, Sirianni was caught by the TV cameras seemingly yelling back at Eagles fans.

Then, Sirianni brought his three children to his postgame press conference where he brushed away criticism of the team going scoreless in the first quarter for the fifth straight game.
