Dr. Adam Lyons, MD is a sports medicine specialist with AdvoCare Stoll Medical Group in Philadelphia, Pa.
Dr. Lyons spoke to the 94WIP Morning Show on Monday about Cam Jurgens' knee injury and Azeez Ojulari's hamstring injury.
Dr Lyons sees patients of all skill levels who have orthopedic and sports related injuries. His area of expertise includes the knee, shoulder, back, spine, neck, elbow, ankle as well as concussion and stem cell therapy.
Dr. Lyons grew up in Philadelphia and comes from a family of physicians. He has had the unique opportunity to serve as a team physician for all levels of sports from high school, NCAA division 1 and with Philadelphia’s professional football, and hockey teams.
Dr. Lyons completed his medical school training at Temple University Medical School and his medical residency training at the University of Pennsylvania where he was named Chief Resident.
