PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — It’s safe to say 2023 has been another eventful calendar year for Philadelphia sports and its fans.

While the days tick down to 2024, let’s reminisce about the good and bad of ‘23 for Philadelphia's teams.

The Eagles were on the doorstep of a championship, but coughed up a double digit halftime lead to Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Andy Reid and the Chiefs. It appeared like the Phillies were going to top their Red October magic from 2022. They didn't, thanks to a disappointing NLCS against the Diamondbacks. The Sixers were oh so close to finally getting past the second round for the first time since 2001. Instead, same story. Different season.

But while there were disappointments, there were many memorable moments and outstanding performances as well.

So let us know what you think about the best and worst moments of Philadelphia sports in 2023, and we’ll share the results on the air in the final week of December.
