Burger King has launched a new deal that will make parents and children that are cooped up inside the house during the coronavirus pandemic squeal with joy.
Mom, you no longer have to worry about "what's for lunch."
Since most restaurants have shuttered their dine-in seating areas due to the outbreak, the meals will be available nationwide through the Burger King app for takeout or drive-thru.
"Burger King is committed to keeping restaurants open to service the American public in this time of need, whether that be through drive-thru, delivery, or takeout as needed," said the fast-food chain in a press release.
The kids meals can be redeemed once daily per guest through April 6 with a qualifying purchase.
Kids can choose from a chicken kids meal, a cheeseburger kids meal, or a 6 piece chicken nuggets kids meal.
As “social distancing” becomes the norm, Burger King has also implemented free delivery on app orders of more than $10.
"Burger King has over 65 years of experience serving affordable, convenient, and delicious food that is a critical part of the routine of millions of Americans every day," said the company in a statement. "We can help take the pressure off of overwhelmed grocery stores and families by offering dependable, clean, and contact-less service ... The health and safety of our guests and team members is our top priority."
Several other fast-food chains have stepped up to offer deals and free delivery including Taco Bell, KFC, and Chipotle.
