Reports say a cat allegedly was out of control in the cockpit of an airplane that was flying to Qatar.
According to Newsweek, the pilot actually had to turn the airplane around because the cat was so disruptive on the aircraft.
A Tarco Airlines Boeing 737 flight had already taken off and was on its way from Khartoum, Sudan, to Doha when the cat suddenly made an appearance in the cockpit. The startled cat started attacking the pilot.
When crew members tried to catch the feline, the cat became angrier. Reports from the flight can confirm that the animal was “aggressive and angry.”
When crew members on the flight couldn’t catch the cat, the crew was forced to make an emergency landing.
According to airline workers, the cat was a feral feline that likely boarded the plane while parked in the hangar overnight while crew members worked to clean the plane.
The report also confirmed that it is quite possible that the cat could have come on board during the pre-flight check. This is when all of the engineers come on the airplane to check that everything is safe before the plane departs.
Does this mean that the feline is on the no-fly list?
