Chick-fil-A it is closing its dining room seating in restaurants across the nation amid coronavirus concerns.
“In an effort to manage the evolving impact of coronavirus on our communities, we are temporarily closing our dining room seating to help limit person-to-person contact,” the chain announced.
Some of the chain’s locations may remain open, but can only offer service through the drive-thrus, while others may be able to offer takeout, delivery or mobile order options.
On Friday, the chicken chain announced that it would close playgrounds at its locations “to focus heightened sanitation efforts in other areas of the Restaurant.” It also declared that it would no longer offer paper receipts, and meals would be served in carry-out packaging.
