When Umodo took the furniture home, she noticed something inside one of the cushions. She unzipped the cushion where she founds multiple envelopes filled with cash.

$36,000 in cash, to be exact.

"I was just telling my son, come, come, come!" Umodo recalled. "I was screaming, this is money! I need to call the guy."

Umodo gave the money back to the family, who told her they too found cash hidden in the rest of the house. But Umodo didn’t leave empty handed.

She said the family gave her $2,200 so that she can buy a new refrigerator.
