Disney Releases Official Dole Whip Recipe Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

As many continue to abide by social distancing measures, some may dream of going to Disney parks during this crisis.

Although Walt Disney World and Disneyland continue to remain closed during the pandemic, Disney wanted to share a sweet treat that you can make for yourself at home.

The Disney Parks app recently gave us a look at the recipe for the Dole Whip pineapple. As you walk through the Jungle River shores in Adventureland at Disneyland Park, here is where you can enjoy this scrumptious sweet, reported Deseret.

The app gives a step-by-step process on how to create the “frozen pineapple treat.” The recipe is found on small slides that users can swipe through.

Now, if you are bored in quarantine, take a look at this recipe from the app:

·      1 big scoop of ice-cream

·      4 oz of pineapple juice

·      2 cups of frozen pineapple

·      Add all ingredients to a blender until it’s a thick drink

·     Add your swirl, and then you’re done.

Earlier this week, Disney offered the recipe of their beloved churros. The recipe was shared on Disney Parks' official blog.

“These past few weeks, we’ve seen many of you sharing Disney recipes and creating your very own magical moments right at home. Being a BIG fan of Disney Parks snacks myself, this has inspired us to share one of my favorite recipes so you can continue creating #DisneyMagicMoments,” wrote Alex Dunlap, Disney’s food and beverage coordinator.

The blog post included an official recipe as well as a 2018 instructional video for making a similar recipe for the much cuter sounding Churro Tots.

Earlier this month, Disney shared an update with its Annual Pass members. After announcing that its locations will be closed until "further notice" last weekthe company announced it will continue to charge Annual Pass holders. The company sent an email to its Annual Pass members, notifying them that scheduled monthly charges will continue. While payments will still be collected, Disney informed members that the days they are missing out on will be tacked on to the end of their passes' expiration dates.

A top Annual Pass costs $1,295 before taxes at Disney World, and $1,449 at Disneyland.

In March, The Walt Disney Company closed down its theme parks in Anaheim, California, and Orlando, Florida due to the quickly spreading coronavirus.
