PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — When it is your turn to get the COVID-19 vaccine, should you turn it down?
Distribution of vaccines has been a bit bumpy to say the least, but there have been many positives as well, considering the operational challenges.
Perhaps the most positive sign of all is the fact that the vast majority of people have not jumped the line.
But when it is your turn, should you give your vaccine to someone else? It would seem selfless, but the answer is no.
There is a reason why you have moved to a place on the list where you can get the vaccine. Certainly it is to protect you, but it is to protect others as well.
Put clearly, it is unethical to jump the line or use power and influence to cut out others, but if it is your turn, accept the vaccine gladly and without guilt.
