LANSING (WWJ) -- Millions of dollars are up for grabs in the Mega Millions and Powerball drawings this weekend.
Tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot has toppled $430 million, while Saturday night’s Powerball has hit $183 million.
Michigan Lottery’s Jake Harris says the odds of winning are about 1 in 303 million.
“The lump sum on the Mega Millions is going to be about $291 million and the lump sum for the Powerball jackpot is about $127 million,” Harris told WWJ’s Jason Scott. “So even if you were to take the lump sum, you’re still looking at a huge payday and a lot of cash to enjoy with your family.”
If you’re not feeling particularly optimistic about the odds, keep in mind that an Oakland County lottery club won the $1.5 billion Mega Millions jackpot back in March.
Tonight’s Mega Millions drawing will be at 11:00 p.m. ET. You can hear the winning numbers announced on WWJ Newsradio 950 live on air and on the Audacy app.
