TRAILER: Ronan Farrow's 'Catch and Kill' Podcast With RADIO.COM's Pineapple Street Studios

The trailer for Ronan Farrow’s new podcast, "The Catch and Kill Podcast With Ronan Farrow," has been released.

The podcast is based on Farrow's explosive new book, "Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators." The podcast is being released on Tuesday. RADIO.COM’s Pineapple Street Studios partnered with Farrow for the new original podcast that will be featured on the RADIO.COM app.

The Pineapple Street production will serve as an audio companion to Farrow's book, recounting investigations and interviews he conducted surrounding allegations of sexual misconduct against media figures like Matt Lauer and Harvey Weinstein.

"'Catch and Kill' is full of incredibly compelling men and women and this podcast will give you the opportunity to hear their voices directly, in intimate, candid conversations with me,” Farrow said. “We’ll provide a deeper understanding of the plot that unravels in the book and feature brand new details and pieces of evidence directly from the investigation,” he continued.

The podcast will also provide more context about the powerful systems that cover up sexual misconduct, detailed by Farrow in his new book.

While Farrow’s relentless investigating led him to one of the biggest breakthroughs of this generation, he didn’t do it alone. Farrow sits down with a different source in each episode as they tell the story of how they decided to finally come forward with their claims. Many of these people faced threats of violence and financial turmoil for speaking at all.

An early episode, which aired on The New Yorker Radio Hour, featured an interview with Igor Ostrovskiy, who was hired to spy on Farrow, but ended up becoming an ally and source.

“We couldn't be more excited to partner with Ronan on this truly important project,” said Max Linsky, co-head of Pineapple Street Studios.

“This is the exact kind of show we want to be making and the type of podcast that can bring new audiences to the medium,” he added.

Farrow brings in private investigators, whistleblowers, victims, journalists, and more to show that it took an army as well as the courage of people who were risking it all to really dive into this case.

The podcast features never-before-heard recordings from the investigation and the testimonies of people who were there.
