You'll want to check your refrigerator for Citterio brand premium Italian style Salami Sticks.

The item is being recalled after 20 people in eight states became ill. There were three hospitalizations.

The product, which may be contaminated with salmonella is mostly sold at Trader Joe's, but it may be available at other retailers as well.

You should toss it out or return it for a refund, and sanitize the surfaces that the product came in contact with.

According to the CDC, eight out of nine people interviewed reported eating or maybe eating this product.
