The 10 U.S. Cities With the Highest Percentages of People Receiving Stimulus Checks


President Donald Trump signed a $2 trillion stimulus bill on March 27 to give those struggling financially in the midst of the coronavirus a bit of a boost. The reception of stimulus checks is based largely on income and size of household for many.

While those who make under $75,000 per year will receive a one-time check for $1,200, that number is adjusted based on your marital status, how many children you have, and your joint income.

SmartAsset looked at Census Bureau data for information on residents of the top 200 largest cities in America, CNBC reports.

With the stimulus check guidelines in mind, here are the top 10 cities that have the most amount of residents receiving stimulus checks in the midst of the pandemic and the percentage of residents who should get the full benefit of the stimulus checks.
