People all over the country are looking for ways to move beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unilever United States is helping Americans cope with the widely-felt effects of the outbreak so they can move forward into the future and thrive.
The company has pledged a long-term commitment to support those who have been hit hardest by the virus.
Through the United for America initiative, Unilever is helping to deliver food, medical supplies, hygiene products, and other critical supplies to organizations on the front lines of COVID-19.
The company is working closely with partners like Entercom to give back and ensure the success of the movement.
As part of the initiative, Unilever is organizing a national Day of Service that will be held on May 21.
On that date, it will donate the equivalent of one day's worth of products manufactured at its U.S. factories to Feeding America and Direct Relief. Every essential item produced by Unilever employees on the national Day of Service will be delivered to its community partners.
In March, the company announced that it would donate $20 million worth of products, services and financial support through charities such as Direct Relief and Feeding America.
The pledge included a promise to donate more than 200,000 masks to hospitals in New Jersey, as well as other efforts.
