You’ve never seen a Starbucks quite this impressive.

It may be true that there’s a Starbucks on every corner in Chicago, but the Starbucks Reserve Roastery opening on Michigan Avenue’s Magnificent Mile on Friday, November 14,  is nothing short of magnificent.

The roastery at the corner of Michigan and Huron (646 Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL) is the sixth of its kind and largest location boasting 35,000 square-feet.

The experiential interior can only be described as a Starbucks theme park or the coffee version of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.

It features themed-floors, coffee and mixology education, fresh baking on-site, Chicago’s best mixologists, new menus, and even alcoholic drinks.

There’s something for everyone.

Throughout all four levels of the roastery, you’ll find gold, coffee-themed installations designed by local artists.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s available on each floor:

The first floor allows customers to order pour-over coffees, espresso drinks, sandwiches, and pastries from the reserve coffee bar.

Customers can take a look into the roasting process while enjoying their coffee and shopping at the gift shop.

Swag includes coffee-making equipment, bags of rare coffee, and more.

A curved escalator, one of only 18 in America, transports customers to the stunning second floor.

You can grab food items at every level of the roastery, but if you’re a foodie and want to satisfy your palate, the second floor is the place to be.

The Princi Bakery and Cafe, hailing from frequent Starbucks collaborator Rocco Prinic, will serve up a menu of parties, freshly-baked bread, sandwiches, pizza, and more.

A must-have menu item while visiting the location is the rare gelato made with liquid nitrogen. It’s only available in Chicago.

A conveyor belt transporting food to other levels is also on-hand to wow customers.
