Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger will be the name of the new ride, which features a “beyond-vertical” 95-degree drop, according to Six Flags’ press release.

Riders will zoom down the 150-foot dive at 60 miles per hour and will be suspended face-down momentarily when they approach the first drop, the theme park said.

The ride will have three 21-passenger trains traveling on 2,501 feet of track as it twists and turns into an Immelmann inversion, a 270-degree zero-g roll, a 75-foot near-vertical drop, a wild banked turn, an extreme airtime hill, and to top it all off, a high-speed spiral finale.

Manufactured by Bolliger and Mabillard, the ride will be open to park goers in 2022.

Those interested can watch the new trailer to get their adrenaline rushing here.
