Normally Katie Neal brings you great deals on products or services, but this week, it's all about putting away the credit card and taking a breather from online shopping.
Since we're all spending so much time at home during the pandemic, you may be finding yourself shopping online a lot more. At a time when so many people are trying to watch their spending due to lost jobs or wages, Katie is helping you rein it in. Here are some simple things you can do to help stop those impulse purchases.
1. Unsave your credit card information from websites. When autofill is on, buying those new shoes is just too easy.
2. Delete shopping apps. With so much time on our hands spending can quickly get out of control. If you don't have the app on your phone, you wont' be tempted to make that purchase.
3. No spend day. If you find yourself buying things on a daily basis, maybe make a pledge to yourself to take a one day detox from shopping. You can do it ;)
