It wasn't all that long ago that thousands of first responders from all across the country arrived in New York to help us get through the pandemic. Thanks to their amazing work and bravery, conditions have been greatly improving and many many of them packed up and went home to their families this week.
The FDNY held a ceremonial sendoff to the amazing healthcare heroes who took time out of their lives to help us. The sendoff was held at Fort Totten in Queens where they were recognized for their great work.
