FDNY firefighters sprung into action to save a woman from a 16th-floor apartment in a spiderman like rescue. The fire happened earlier this week near Lenox Avenue and West 135th Street.
The rescue that was performed is called a roof rope rescue. Apparently it's rarely used but it turns out the firefighters were actually just practicing a drill for this type of thing so they pulled off the actual rescue with any issues.
