When 76-year-old Barbara Heller went over to her Manhattan apartment window to get some fresh air, she fell out. In what is truly a miracle, she survived because she landed on boxes of fruit and vegetables.
There's a supermarket on the bottom floor of her building, and they were loading in cases from a food delivery when Barbara fell. Barbara wound up with a broken pelvis, a broken rib, a pierced lung, and some bruises but is lucky to be alive.
