LOS ANGELES (1010 WINS) -- Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are engaged, the couple announced on Instagram Sunday.
Spears, 39, made the announcement by posting a video to Instagram in which she shows off a diamond ring on her finger, with Asghari, 27, at her side.
"I can't f****** believe it," Spears captioned the post, adding a series diamond ring emojis.
Asghari confirmed the engagement to Spears -- whom he met in 2016 on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video -- by posting a photo of the couple embracing and flipping her engagement ring-wearing middle finger at the camera
"The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them," said Asghari's manager, Brandon Cohen.
Cohen said the ring was designed by Forever Diamonds New York founder Roman Malayev. Asghari "couldn't be happier to be involved and make this one-of-a-kind ring," Cohen said.
Asghari "selected a 4 carat round brilliant stone in a platinum cathedral setting," according to the Forever Diamonds New York website. He enhanced this timeless floating solitaire design with pavé detailing on the bridge and flush set diamonds on the prongs and basket, adding a sentimental touch by engraving "Lioness," his personal nickname for her, on the inside of the band.
