As one of the best guitar players, songwriters and overall musicians in the Country genre — there are still some experiences Keith Urban has yet to check off his bucket list.

LISTEN NOW: Keith Urban reveals the two artists he wants to write with

During a recent interview with KSON’s John and Tammy: San Diego’s Morning Show, Keith shared two fellow singer-songwriters he hasn’t had the opportunity to write with, but hopes to in the future.

Eric Church and Luke Combs,” he said without hesitation when asked who his dream co-writers would be. He also shared there are “days” worth of people he’s love to collaborate with on guitar and learn from. “It would take days to rattle off the list,” he said of the guitarists he looks up to. “There are so many guitarists I love that I’d love to play with, but maybe just sitting backstage jammin’ would be kinda cool because I’d probably learn more.”

Surely the list of people looking to jam out with Urban — or shall we say, Pete Thurman — is just as long. Earlier in his conversation, Keith shared he often goes by the name “Pete Thurman” when checking into hotels or looking to stay under the radar.

“One of my pseudonym check-ins years ago at a hotel was Pete Thurman,” Urban shared. "Early in my career, we were playing at some county fair somewhere and backstage you couldn’t quite hear the guy who was announcing me — it was kinda muffled. It sounded like he went, 'Ladies and gentlemen, here’s Pete Thurman' — it sounded like he said Pete Thurman.”

Fans can catch Thurman oops, we mean Urban, at his newly announced Las Vegas residency, Keith Urban’s HIGH in Vegas, taking place at Fountainbleau beginning Oct. 14, 2024. The show  will have 10 exclusive performances and feature music from his new album arriving this fall.
