Many people have taken to TikTok to complain about their recent purchase, claiming that the fabric is see-through, cheaply made, and features impractical designs for most women’s body type.

TikTok influencer @makeupshayla gave a review of an orange and yellow two-piece that connects in the front with thin straps.

“Before I try it on I just have to point out how sheer [the material is].” She then stretches the fabric in front of the camera, saying “Do you guys see that? Just how sheer it is.”  She later said that despite the suit being see through, the design is “poppin” and she would most likely take it with her on her next vacation, but would not wear it in the water.

YouTuber Brianna Renee also showed off a similarly styled swimsuit and also pointed out how thin the material is. She also revealed the unfinished sewing on the seams, frayed edges, tangled bikini ties, and ripped fabric. “It keeps getting worse” she wrote under the video.

Jessica Anderson, a beauty influencer and founder of her own swimwear line 93 Play Street, also took to social media to give her honest review of the Kylie Swim line.

"I personally don't know anyone's bodies that this would work for," Anderson said in the video while acknowledging how little coverage the swimsuit provides.

Anderson continued, "I am completely and totally disappointed that this is completely see-through. I've seen the behind-the-scenes of what it takes to produce swimwear and the fact that no one caught that this is completely see-through blows my mind. I'm sure they did because they had to Photoshop some of their photos to make this work."

She added, "For me, it comes down to lack of integrity."

In June, Jenner announced her new brand “Kylie Baby” with her 3-year-old daughter Stormi. The new business includes haircare and skincare for babies and young children, which were all “tested and approved” by her daughter, Jenner wrote on Instagram.

The items became available for purchase September 28.
