“My word of the year for 2025 has been discipline,” she revealed before detailing what that means to her. “Discipline with my health, discipline with just spending quality time with myself —really taking care of myself. Staying as grounded as I possibly can. Discipline with working out. Discipline with my spiritual life… just spending time with the Lord. That’s my goal for 2025 — just to have a good balance of discipline.”

It’s a good mindset for Wilson who is gearing up for another busy year after just announcing plans for her Whirlwind World Tour kicking off next month. The trek will include stops at Zurich’s X-TRA, Paris’ Elysée Montmartre, New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Austin’s Moody Center, Baton Rouge’s Raising Cane’s River Center Arena, and Denver’s Ball Arena, among many others.

Joining Wilson as special guests on the tour will be ERNESTMuscadine BloodlineKaitlin ButtsMaddox BatsonDrake MilliganLauren Watkins, and Zach Meadows. Tickets are on sale now, find them here.

Wilson’s professional life isn’t the only thing keeping her busy this year - her personal life will also keep her busy as she just got engaged to boyfriend, Devlin “Duck” Hodges. The couple shared the news with fans in a joint post to social media February 12 with a carousel of clips from the proposal. "4x4xU forever” the caption read with a red heart emoji.

In a prior appearance on the Superstar Power Hour, Lainey shared she knew she’d found “the one” with Duck after he encouraged her to chase her dreams and has never held her back.

“I will tell you, the reason I know I found the right one is because for years, I mean, since he was five years old, he was trying to play football. And he did whatever it took to end up walking on with the Steelers,” Lainey told Neal. “I know how hard he worked for that, and he knows how hard I worked for this and so, it’s crazy because when we first met, he was comin’ off of football and I was goin’ in to better things and we learned how to deal with all of it.”

She continued, “We just know how much we’ve had to sacrifice to do it and so he would never, in a million years ever make me feel bad about saying yes to things because we know that we're going to one day, we're going to have the time.”
