Academy Award and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Jessica Chastain is being fully embraced by the Country community and she has zero complaints.

Chastain has stepped into the Country music world in a big way after securing the role of Tammy Wynette in the new television series, George & Tammy. The series centers around Wynette as well as husband, George Jones who is played by Michael Shannon.
Being a part of the series secured Chastain an invite to this year’s CMA Awards, which took place in November, where she rubbed elbows with some of the biggest Country stars. Among those stars was Miranda Lambert, who Chastain said would definitely receive an invite to her dream dinner party after the impression she left.
“I met Miranda Lambert at the CMAs and she offered me bourbon in a Red Solo cup and I’m obsessed with her,” she told KSON’s John & Tammy in the Morning. “She’d be a fun addition to the party. It has to be people that are going to bring it, you know?”
Other invitees included co-star Michael Shannon, Oscar Isaac, Anne Hathaway and George Condo among others.
