Audacy's Gunner and Cheyenne got a chance to talk with Country favorite HARDY this weekend at Arizona's Country Thunder, getting a few details about how his wedding plans with fiancée Caleigh are coming along, as well as what it's like being on the road with Morgan Wallen.
LISTEN: HARDY talks weddings, Wallen, and more with Gunner and Cheyenne
The last time Gunner and Cheyenne spoke with HARDY, he and Caleigh had just gotten engaged, and there have been some plans formed and changes made -- including their coordinator -- since that time. "We did, we switched it up... we are making headway and it's great. It's very exciting. We have a venue and a date -- which is the most important thing. Now the fun can begin." After attempting to get him to spill the exact wedding date, HARDY simply told the crew "let's just say it's in October, sometime in October."
HARDY is also thrilled to be performing a string of festivals with his pal Morgan Wallen, beginning with this past weekend's Country Thunder in Arizona. "Three years ago to the day we were playing anywhere from 300 to 800-cap rooms," he says, adding "to be able to say three years have gone by and that, he more than me, we've come so far in such a short amount of time. Years ago we talked about moments and nights like these, so it's really exciting."
After their appearances this weekend, HARDY's plans are to hit Nashville for some more wedding planning -- which unfortunately does not include Morgan as his Best Man -- and then it's back out on the road on Wallen's Dangerous Tour.
