Back to where it all began. Crystal Lake premiering October 15 on Peacock is a prequel to the Friday the 13th franchise. The series follows single mother, Pam Voorhees, who has been unable to shake her grief after her young, sickly son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake. Co-star Danielle Kotch portrays Claudette, a Crystal Lake camp counselor whose story is directly connected to the events surrounding young Jason Voorhees’ drowning. Danielle has been a horror fan since childhood and started acting at just five years old on Sesame Street. Her diverse acting credits span hit television and film projects including Elsbeth, Sinister, and 9-1-1: Nashville. Crystal Lake marks an exciting career milestone as she joins one of horror’s most recognizable franchises.
