Ness Sandoval, a demographer at Saint Louis University, joins Megan Lynch with reaction to a new CDC report on a lower birth rate nationally. 'There are only 2 ways which you can grow,' says Sandoval, more births than deaths and more people moving into a region. St Louis is, 'one of the epicenters,' of the decline in birth rates Sandoval tells Lynch. He says the decline began nearly 20 years ago, in 2008. He says women are waiting until they are older to have children, in 2010 that age was 28 and is 32 today.
