Bay Area gas prices have reached upwards of seven dollars per gallon

California drivers are hitting a painful milestone today as gas prices officially average over six dollars a gallon across the state. Starting Monday, San Francisco will launch a new effort aimed at tackling the city's drug crisis. A federal court fight over free speech at UC Berkeley is now in a judge's hands.
