A time to honor police, recognize sacrifice they and their families make

This is a week people across Michigan can say "Thank You" to police officers, sheriff deputies or Michigan State Police Troopers. Sunday was the start of Police Week. The tradition started 63 years ago by President John F. Kennedy. In Michigan, State Representative Mike Harris from Waterford sponsored a Police Week resolution.
