The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has upped the amount of confirmed cases of Cyclosporiasis to almost 16 hundred. The disease is the result of a parasite that causes severe diarrhea. The outbreak has spread across several states. Local and federal officials are working to find a source of the outbreak, telling the public to wash all produce. Dr. Trevor Suslow of the University of California Davis says there's evidence water systems could be another potential cause.
