Controversy is growing over a ballot measure that would establish public power in Ann Arbor, and get rid of the city's reliance on DTE.
The Ann Arbor City Council has put a resolution on its agenda for Monday to encourage a "no" vote on the measure. If the measure is approved by voters, Ann Arbor will establish a governance structure for its own electric utility to replace DTE.
