On Friday, September 18, 2026, guest host Heidi Harris stepped in for Charlie James on The Charlie James Show to deliver a wide-ranging, commentary-driven broadcast. The multi-hour show opened with an in-depth analysis of the high-profile Lindsey Clancy murder trial, specifically highlighting the sole holdout juror—a Black conservative man who stood firm against public pressure and jury room hostility. Harris reflected on the civic duty of jury service, the intense personal toll of high-profile cases, and broader cultural dynamics surrounding principles versus conformity.
Beyond the trial, the broadcast tackled several pressing political and societal debates. Harris led discussions on media bias, the press’s role in public accountability, and the upcoming midterm elections, including local South Carolina political dynamics involving candidates such as Sheri Biggs and Ralph Norman. The program also incorporated caller interactions regarding military policies, foreign policy, and media censorship. Throughout the show, Harris emphasized the importance of staying politically engaged, exercising the right to vote, and holding steadfast to personal convictions despite social or political opposition.
