The KYW Newsradio All-Local: Sunday, March 8 (Evening Edition) Police in Delaware County now say some remains discovered by a pair of hikers in Ridley Creek State Park last Friday are actually that of a deer. Authorities say the hikers were walking near Chapel Hill Road and Ridley Creek Road around 12:30 when they called 911 after discovering what they thought were human remains. Upper Providence police arrived on scene, then called in the Delaware County Medical Examiner's Office for assistance. The M.E. initially confirmed that what they found were human remains and was working to confirm the identity. But after more testing today, say that what they found was a deer. No other remains were found at that location. ### Construction soon begins on a one mile section of trail in Camden County that’s been a long time in the making.
